Gray crowned crane’s live in water near grasslands and croplands.
All gray crowned cranes eat tips of grasses, seeds, insects, invertebrates and small vertebrates.
They also feed in croplands for groundnuts, soybeans, maize and millet.
Hyenas and leopards are their predators. They fly away to protect themselves.

Interesting facts
The gray crowned crane wings are white with patches of brown and gold.
On top of the gray crowned cranes head is a crown of stiff golden feathers.
